I qualified as a Teacher in 1990, after completing a 4 year Degree course in Education.  Recognised by the Department of Education. DfES

I started teaching as a professional Junior Teacher.

My first appointment was in July of the same year .

I took a special interest in how children learn,  and I wanted first hand experience in the development of learning and the step by step progression.  Hence the experience I have in teaching all the age range.

Before I went and did my degree, I had already had the experience of teaching teenagers and adults.

I found it fascinating how pupils could come to the country speaking little or no English and would advance with their peers in school.

I've had the experience of teaching such pupils, and the knowledge I've gained while teaching all the year groups have help me to set work for multi-lingual pupils.

We have a commitment to promote equal opportunity, and will allow pupils to work at their own pace, and still working with great endeavour to bring them up to the National Standard ready for assessment.
